Not quite as advertized
This is an excellent IWB holster, especially for the price, and I can really appreciate the molding around the opening that prevents it from collapsing when the pistol is drawn. My one complaint is, however, that this holster is supposed to be for the various compact versions of the 1911, and the package as received confirms that. However, it actually fits the longer slide Commander configuration. No real problem, since the only difference between the two is about one inch too much length, and since I have a Colt LW Commander I'm not actually complaining about the added versatility, but still, others who order this holster expecting a perfect fit for their 1911 compact variation should be aware of what they're actually getting,
